Falcons Sign 6th Round Pick Stone

The Falcons have come to terms on a four-year contract with sixth-round pick Daren Stone, a strong safety from Maine. Stone will be making the league minimum of $285,000 in 2007, also receiving an unspecified signing bonus and the promise of incentives. He stands at 6-foot-3 and weighs 221 pounds. As a senior, he was named to the Preseason All-Atlantic 10 First-Team, and was named an Honorable Mention Preseason All-American by Don Hansen’s Football Gazette. In his junior season he named to the All-Atlantic 10 Third-Team
