Falcons quarterback Michael Vick and three other men will be in a federal district courthouse in Richmond, Virginia today. They’re scheduled for a bond hearing and arraignment. They stand accused of operating a dog fighting ring called “Bad Newz Kennels.” Prosecutors allege dog fights were held on Vick’s property in Surry County, Virginia. If convicted, Vick and the other defendants each face up to six years in prison and 350-thousand-dollars in fines. While Vick is in court, his team will be opening its training camp in Georgia. The National Football League is conducting its own investigation.
