The Falcons lost to the New York Jets 31-16 in a preseason game on the road on Friday. Despite the loss, there were some positives for the team, including 83 yards on 21 carries from the running backs, and a strong line that didn’t give up a single sack. Jerious Norwood had a 10-yard touchdown run. Quarterback Joey Harrington completed a 37-yard pass to Dwayne Blakley for the team’s longest passing play. The Falcons travel to Buffalo for the next exhibition game, kicking off Friday at 7 P.M.
