Falcons Arbitration Hearing Ends, Decision Expected Next Month
Posted by Matt Loede on October 5th, 2007 filed in Michael Vick CaseRepresentatives from the Falcons, including team owner Arthur Blank, are on their way back to Atlanta after Thursday’s arbitration hearing in Philadelphia. The hearing, held at the University of Pennsylvania Law School also included representatives pleading Vick’s case from the NFL Players Association and attorneys for the Falcons and the NFL. The Falcons want to recoup millions of dollars in bonus money paid to Vick on grounds that he violated his contract by participating in illegal dogfighting over the term of the contract. A decision is expected some time early next month. The Falcons play the Titans Sunday at 1 p.m.
