Cruelty Charges Dropped Against DT Babineaux
Posted by Matt Loede on November 8th, 2007 filed in NewsA felony animal cruelty charge against defensive tackle Jonathan Babineaux was
dismissed on Wednesday. Gwinnett County DA Danny Porter decided to dismiss the charges due to lack of evidence that Babineaux intentionally killed his girlfriend’s pit bull mix, who police say had a history of unprovoked attacks. Police charged Babineaux in February for the death of girlfriend Blair Anderson’s dog, Kilo. Babineaux would have likely been suspended from the league had a grand jury indicted him.
