Rookie TE Milner Placed on IR; Birds Pickup Anderson

The Falcons have placed rookie tight end Martrez Milner on injured reserve with an injured ankle.  The fourth-rounder was hurt in Sunday’s 20-13 win at Carolina.  The team picked up former Lions TE Courtney Anderson off of waviers to take the 3rd TE spot for the injured Milner.

Cruelty Charges Dropped Against DT Babineaux

A felony animal cruelty charge against defensive tackle Jonathan Babineaux was dismissed on Wednesday.  Gwinnett County DA Danny Porter decided to dismiss the charges due to lack of evidence that Babineaux intentionally killed his girlfriend’s pit bull mix, who police say had a history of unprovoked attacks.  Police charged Babineaux in February for the death of […]
