NFL Fines Players For Support For Vick During Game

The NFL has fined five Falcons for showing support to disgraced quarterback and ex-teammate Michael Vick during a televised loss to the Saints on Monday night.  Tight end Alge Crumpler, cornerbacks DeAngelo Hall and Chris Houston and wide receiver Roddy White all received fines of $10-thousand.  The fines are for what the NFL says were very public displays of support for Vick which violated the uniform code policy.  White wore a “Free Mike Vick” shirt under his jersey.  Joe Horn was fined $75-hundred for pulling up White’s shirt after scoring a touchdown.  Hall and Crumpler wore black eye strips with writing on them supporting the convicted quarterback.  Hall also carried a poster supporting Vick which he taped to the back of the bench where players sit.
