The Atlanta Falcons on Wednesday placed offensive tackle Ty Pennington on the injured reserve list, ending his season; they also waived defensive end Kevin Huntley and activated offensive tackle Kurt Quarterman from the practice squad.  Pennington has competed in 5 games with the Falcons and saw his first action against the Indianapolis Colts on November 22; the team gave no reason for his placement on IR.

Huntley played in 5 games this season, recprding 4 tackles; Quarterman has spent the entire season on the team’s practice squad.  He was signed as an undrafted rookie free agent in May.
