Could the Falcons be getting closer to naming a head coach now that they have a GM? That might be the case, as the Caroll County Times is reporting that former Ravens defensive coordinator Rex Ryan is a finalist for the Falcons job. Ryan did already interview for the spot, and it appears that owner Arthur Blank liked him enough to have him high on the list. It has been reported that new GM Thomas Dimitroff is going to hire the new coach, and he and Ryan worked together, so it would make sense if Ryan is high in the running for the position.
