Source: Falcons Eyeing Broncos K Jason Elam

Today’s Denver Post reports that the Falcons are expected to make a push to sign Broncos Jason Elam if ends up as a free agent at the end of the week.  One reason why is that Elam has family in Atlanta, and another is that the Falcons really need to upgrade the kicking game, as right now the team has 47-year-old Morten Andersen STILL as the top kicker on their team.  Playing in a dome Elam would have the comforts of kicking on turf and out of the bad weather that hits Denver midway through the season.
