The Falcons have waived C Doug Datish. A sixth-round pick in 2007, Datish spent his rookie year on injured reserve with a broken wrist. He’s versatile, healthy now, and figures to be claimed.

Today’s Atlanta Journal-Constitution is reporting that second-year safety Daren Stone was arrested early Sunday and charged with driving under the infulence. Stone was arrested before sunrise and posted a bond of $1,591 and released about 5:30pm.

Word out of Falcons OTAs is that Harvey Dahl, who has spent most of his career on practice squads, is lining up at right guard with the first-team offense, with longtime starter Kynan Forney taking a demotion to the second unit.
The Falcons have come to terms with two of their third-round picks, as today the team signed third-round cornerback Chevis Jackson and third-round safety Thomas DeCoud. Both players get four-year deals.
