The Falcons made several roster moves on Tuesday, including signing veteran defensive end Grady Jackson. The team also placed cornerback Von Hutchins on the injured reserve list, released defensive lineman David Patterson and signed cornerback Glenn Sharpe. Jackson was released by the Falcons after seven games last season and was signed by Jacksonville. In 14 games combined between the Jags and Falcons, he tallied 30 tackles and one sack.
The 35-year-old has recorded 507 tackles, 33-and-a-half sacks, eight forced fumbles and seven fumble recoveries over his 11-year career. Hutchins, who signed as a free agent in March, tallied 93 tackles and one interception in 16 games last year with Houston.
