Posted in Falcons linebacker Keith Brooking has been fined $5000 for a hit on Eagles QB Donovan McNabb two weeks ago during the teams loss in Philly. Brooking says he was surprised to hear after the game Sunday in Oakland that he’d been fined as there was no penalty called on the play. Brooking said he hit McNabb in the shoulder, not in the helmet or with his helmet.
