Falcons Planning as if Jackson Will be Able to Play Sunday
Posted by Matt Loede on December 3rd, 2008 filed in NewsDespite being one of six players suspended this past week for violating the league’s anti-doping policy, the Falcons are planning as if DT Grady Jackson will be able to play in Sunday’s game. Even the Falcons coach has Jackson in their plans. “We’re anticipating that Grady will play,” coach Mike Smith said. “We’re planning for it.” Jackson was on a list of players accused of using a diuretic, which can serve as a masking agent for steroids. Jackson has already filed suit against StarCaps in Alameda County Superior Court in California last month, seeking restitution for any lost salary and damages for “false advertising and unfair business practices.”
