Haynesworth to be a Falcon in 2009?
Albert Haynesworth is going to be a most sought after free agent on the market, and today’s Atlanta Journal Constitution is reporting that the Falcons may take a look at him this offseason. Here’s the tidbit from today’s edition.
How would Tennessee tackle Albert Haynesworth look in the middle of the Falcons’ defense? According to a Nashville City Paper report, Haynesworth is not happy with the pace of contract talks with the Titans. Haynesworth can become a free agent on Feb. 27. If the two sides can’t work out an extension, Haynesworth, a former Tennessee Volunteer, has said he would like stay close to his Knoxville home. That makes Atlanta and Carolina possibilities.
