Former Falcon Vick Released From Federal Custody

Vick Federal Sentence
Former Falcons quarterback Michael Vick is out of jail, as he was released from federal custody on Monday after serving a 23-month sentence for pleading guilty on federal charges related to funding a dogfighting operation.

The representatives for Vick are moving fast, as they are trying to meet NFL commissioner Roger Goodell in the next two weeks, according to a source. Of course that ball is in Goodell’s court, and it’s going to be up to the commish to decide when he wants to meet with Vick.

The release from federal custody means Vick doesn’t have to wear an electronic monitoring device and is no longer under home confinement. In order to get back in the league, Goodell has already said that Vick has to show remorse for his actions. The biggest two questions remain unanswered about Vick – when will he be allowed to play again, and where will he end up?
