The LA Times says that the Falcons are pumped to see what RB Thomas Brown can do this weekend:

Falcons running back Thomas Brown, a former Georgia standout, might get a chance to carry most of the rushing load against Detroit on Saturday. “He’s just fun to watch,” running backs coach Gerald Brown said. “Up until now, he’s had a really good camp so far. I’m really looking forward to seeing him on the field in competition.” Last season, Brown was injured in the final exhibition game when he suffered a groin injury on a horse-collar tackle by Baltimore’s Gary Stills. He spent the season on injured reserve.
