First-Round Pick Peria Jerry to be Placed on IR

The season is over for first-round pick Peria Jerry, as today the Falcons announced that the team is putting the DT on injured reserve. The first-round draft pick from Mississippi suffered a season-ending right knee injury in Atlanta’s victory over Carolina. Jerry’s injury is more bone-related and not a torn ACL. He should be ready to go by next summer.
