Falcons sign QB Chris Redman to a two-year deal

Pro Football talk reports that the Falcons have inked Chris Redman, who will be back for the team as the backup to Matt Ryan in 2010:
The Falcons agreed to terms on a two-year, $5 million contract with backup quarterback Chris Redman, marking the first transaction of the uncapped era. Okay, so this is actually a re-signing. And if you want to get technical about it, it came before midnight.
