At first glance, when you think of a football battle pitting Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Kevin Kolb and Atlanta Falcons QB Matt Ryan, you are probably thinking this game’s going to have lots of offense. that end of the bargain was held.

But Kolb would win this battle of the birds, exploiting the Falcons’ secondary for four auarters.

Kolb put the game away for good at the 6:11 mark of the third quarter when he connected with Maclin on a 83-yard bomb down the left side, increasing the Eagles’ advantage to 28-10. Ryan tossed another TD pass to Gonzalez with 5:40 left in the game, but unfortunately came too late.

Kolb had an excellent effort as he went 23-of-29 for 326 yards with 3 TDs and an interception while Ryan went 23-of-42 for 150 yards with a pair of scores and an INT.
