James Sanders to Pay a Visit to the Falcons Tuesday

It didn’t take long for former Patriots starting safety James Sanders to line up a visit with another NFL team. Sanders, who was shocked upon being released on Monday by the Pats, is scheduled to meet Tuesday with the Falcons according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Sanders, who was a starting safety for the Patriots before getting cut in a surprise move, is an unrestricted free agent, and Falcons General Manager Thomas Dimitroff, who previously worked for the Patriots, is well aware of what Sanders can do.

A 2005 fourth-round pick of the Patriots, Sanders will likely have his choice of free-agent contracts.
