
The Falcons are still perfect on the season, but it wasn’t a thing of beauty and was a lot harder than they probably felt it would be.
Playing an Oakland team that they looked like they could dominate, the Falcons played sloppy all day, but in the end were saved by a last play field goal by Matt Bryant to beat the Raiders 23-20.
Bryant’s kick was not easy in its own right – a 55 yarder with 1 second remaining. The win extends the Falcons to 6-0, their best start in franchise history.
Matt Ryan had a rough day, but came through in the end when it mattered, hitting passes on the final drive to pull out the three-point win.
