SEA @ ARI
For anyone that likes smash-mouth, defensive football, this should be the game for you. This one should come down to Seattle’s ability to run the ball and Palmer’s ability to turn the ball over repeatedly.
BUF @ MIA
The Bills played respectable football against a tough Bengals team last week, but you’re taking the Dolphins at home here. Mike Wallace might even have a chance to make a play or two against a beatable secondary.
STL @ CAR
Cam Newton is as up and down quarterback as you’re going to find, and he’s up right now. You’ve got to like Carolina’s front seven at home too.
CHI @ WAS
The Bears have a defense, the Redskins don’t. It’s really that simple for me right here. But as usual, this is going to come down to how well Jay Cutler performs.
CIN @ DET
This Bengals defense is more than capable, but I’m not sure the Dalton is capable of going blow for blow with Matthew Stafford.
DAL @ PHI
Both teams can score and neither has a defense, so flip a coin. I’m going to take the Eagles here though, simply because they are healthier right now.
SDG @ JAC
The Chargers are capable of losing to any team, they’ve proven that time and time again. But a great win over the Colts on Monday Night Football should be enough to carry them through a short week on the road.
NE @ NYJ
This feels like a trap game for the Patriots, but I expect Belichick and Brady to recognize that and keep this team on their toes.
TB @ ATL
This is a must-win for both teams. But the Falcons are the better team and at home. And while we’ve seen them lose when that’s been the case before, I expect this team to show a sense of urgency.
SF @ TEN
Chris Johnson is going to struggle running on the Niners, and until the Titans get Locker back they’re going to struggle throwing the ball when they’re behind.
HOU @ KC
The Texans offense is a disaster right now and they’ll be facing off against a stifling Chiefs defense is only allowing 10.8 points a game. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Chiefs defense alone outscores the Texans in this one.
BAL @ PIT
They finally stole one last week and I don’t expect that momentum to slow down against a divisional rival at home this week.
CLE @ GB
This Browns team just keeps on finding ways to win, and the Packers are pretty bruised up after last week, but there’s no way I’m picking against Rodgers at home. Plus, it doesn’t hurt that Lacy had a break out game against the Ravens last week.
DEN @ IND
Manning is going home, Luck is coming off a rough loss against the Chargers on Monday Night Football. This one has all the makings of a classic. That said, Manning has weapons and something to prove.
MIN @ NYG
Both team need a win, but the Giants need it more. And while the Vikings continue to play musical chairs at quarterback, the Giants still have a two-time Super Bowl MVP on their side.
Last week: 9-5
