Falcons Rookie Kaleb McGary Undergoes Cardiac Ablation Procedure

Falcons rookie offensive tackle Kaleb McGary is undergoing a cardiac ablation procedure on Wednesday according to the team’s official website.

It sounds serious, but the procedure is minimally-invasive, and McGary has undergone similar operations twice in the past as he suffers from a chronic irregular heartbeat.

There is no official timetable for his return but he was reportedly out of action for six to eight weeks the last time he had the procedure. The No.31-overall pick out of Washington is expected to push Ty Sambrailo for the starting right tackle job in 2019.
