The Falcons are back to square one after Super Bowl-winning coach Bill Parcells backed out of a deal to become the team’s executive vice president. Team owner Arthur Blank says the Falcons had agreed in principle with Parcells and were to meet with the ex-Cowboys coach, but that Parcells was now considering a revised offer from the Miami Dolphins. This latest setback came after head coach Bobby Petrino abruptly resigned last week after 13 games to take the head coaching job at Arkansas.
